About Shayatee

Every board carries a quiet history. Shayatee brings those stories into daily life with solid-wood furniture that feels natural at home. We treat furniture as functional art—built to serve first, honest in materials, and calm enough to live with for years. The promise is simple: real wood, real craft, real life.

Who Shayatee Is

Shayatee works direct from workshop to home. Skipping middlemen keeps quality in our hands, pricing clear, and conversations personal. A compact team—designers beside woodworkers, quality control beside customer care—shares the same space and schedule, so a piece can move from first sketch to final coat without losing its character. Messages receive a reply within 24 hours on business days.

We use precision machines where exact cuts matter, then slow down for the work only hands can do: easing edges, matching grain so lines read as one, and tightening clean, solid joints.

What Shayatee Makes

Our collection centers on solid-wood console tables, bookcases (including the signature Tree Bookshelf), desks, and seating—from dining chairs to accent chairs and sofas. Select pieces are offered in custom configurations when available (for example, Custom Tree Bookshelf). Each shipment includes a clear guide to recommended load, shelf spacing (when applicable), and safe wall anchoring for tall units. Shayatee

Strength comes from accurate joinery and thoughtful structure; warmth comes from careful hand sanding and well-rubbed finishes. A good piece should do two quiet jobs every day: carry weight without fuss and ground a room without noise.

Materials & Sustainability

We start with solid hardwoods—oak, walnut, ash, and maple—care-dried so they stay stable through the seasons. Lumber is traceable and selected from trusted U.S. suppliers. Every board is inspected for look and strength before it becomes a part.

Surfaces receive low-odor, indoor-safe oils or water-based varnishes—often plant-based—so the wood keeps its natural touch and sits comfortably in homes with children and pets. Our rule for the planet is straightforward: make things that last. Offcuts become brackets, samples, or packing spacers, and hardware is chosen so it can be repaired or replaced.

How Shayatee Builds

Each piece begins at the lumber rack. We check dryness, grain flow, and strength, then flatten faces and cut parts to size. Precision equipment handles the exacting work; hands take over for the parts that give a piece its feel—edge shaping, clean joints, and grain matching so panels look continuous.

Parts are sanded smooth in steps, then finished in thin coats with proper drying time between them. After that, we assemble, fine-tune, and test the piece so capacity guidance is real, not guesswork. Before a box closes, we make a final round: surface check, joint check, hardware test-fit, and a wipe-down so the first thing you notice is the wood—not a flaw.

Packaging & Shipping

Packing is part of the craft. Panels and corners are protected with foam and corner guards. Hardware packs are sealed and labeled to match a simple, step-by-step guide. Cartons are strong and reinforced for long routes; oversized pieces can be crated or pallet-secured.

We ship with UPS, FedEx, USPS (for select small U.S. parcels), and DHL Express for international routes, and we share tracking from pickup to doorstep. Unboxing should be calm and clear—parts labeled, steps easy—and the piece ready the same day. Shayatee

Care & Support

Daily care is simple: dust with a dry or lightly damp cloth, avoid strong heat and long-term damp, and use floor pads for stability and floor protection. Wood prefers steady room conditions. For wall units, anchor into studs when possible and follow the guide; if there is any doubt, we’ll help choose anchors for your wall type.

If the finish ever looks tired, a quick touch-up oil brings back the glow, and we can supply a matching care kit. Our warranty is plain: if an issue is on us—or happens on the road—we will repair, replace, or refund.

The Shayatee Promise

We don’t chase volume; we chase fit—a piece that suits a room and a routine so well it feels meant to be there. If helpful, we can share finish samples and a quick 2D/3D sketch for clarity before you decide.

When a piece finally takes its place at home, it won’t just hold things; it will hold habits, photos, and a quiet sense of order.
